Websitewww.marshall.edu/tto
Short Description

Nano non-steroidal anti-inflammatory devices for the treatment/prevention of shock.

Abstract

Sepsis is the third leading cause of mortality in non-intensive care coronary units in United States. With growing antibiotic resistance and lack of development of a new class of antibiotic for more than a decade, there is an urgent need for development of therapeutic drugs for the treatment of sepsis. This invention will provide novel treatment options to decrease and /or prevent mortality due to sepsis, acute kidney, and liver injury and associated inflammatory diseases in human and all type of animals. Furthermore this widely available and inexpensive compound does not require special storage conditions and can be used alone or combined with other medications and therapies.
